CIMI MTF meeting plans - tomorrow’s meeting is cancelled

Folks,
I will not be available tomorrow, and I think I need to be present for the discussion of CIMI principles and decisions, so the meeting tomorrow is cancelled. Also, I will not be available at the usual time on Thursday for the rest of the year (HL7 stuff, mHealth conference, AMIA Fall Meeting, Thanksgiving, LOINC meeting, Christmas). I really want to make progress on CIMI. I propose the following:
· I have attached a slightly modified draft of the policy decisions document. I would like to have as much discussion via email as possible. Please start at the top and send comments about anything you don’t understand or that you don’t agree with, and we can discuss on email.
· I am available at the following times for 1 hour meetings. For anyone that is available we can have discussions. We can discuss other things besides the decision document. I know that there things that Claude would like to discuss. We can set the agenda before each meeting so people know what to expect. All times are Mountain Standard Time (MST starts on Sunday November 1):
o Monday Nov 2: 2:00 pm
o Monday Nov 9: 2:00 pm
o Thursday Nov 19: 2:00 pm
o Tuesday Nov 24: 2:00 pm
o Monday Nov 30: 2:00 pm
o Tuesday Dec 8: 2:00 pm
o Wednesday Dec 16: 2:00 pm
· If I don’t get comments that these dates are unworkable, I will send out appointments.
· Starting in the new year on Jan 7 we can resume our regularly scheduled calls.

The CIMI meetings have been on Thursday from 1:00 to 3:00 pm for a long time. As you know, there is only a small window during which we can accommodate people in Europe, the US, and Australia. We can visit and see how we might adjust one or both meetings to make it possible for folks to participate in both meetings. Thanks, Stan
