Nomatter how I try to open my install files for ArcPro or Arc10, I keep getting the following unpacking error: "An unexpected error occurred while unpacking file (s). Error code: -6". Has anyone else ecnountered this? So far, I have used the ArcGIS uninstaller to verify that all files were removed, so that shouldn't be the issue. These files are also "unblocked". Any help would be greatly appreciated. I've got Windows 10 and plenty of free storage space, so not sure what the issue is.

For anyone having same problem on Windows 10, for me only solution was to switch off controlled folder access in Ransomware protection (Windows Security -> Virus & threath protection -> manage ransomware protection -> controlled folder access switch off).

Different way of addressing it: If you open up Windows Security (easily accessed from the program tab near your clock/calendar) you might see that the program is repeatedly being blocked from accessing (installing) within your protected folders. You can individually allow the program to access your folders here (rather than turning off the entire "controlled folder access" setting) and rerun the program as an administrator.

we are unable to open the downloaded PDF Zip files and its prompting an error as " Windows cannot complete the extraction. The destination file could not be created". We have tried to extract the files to the same location but its prompting another error as per the below Screen shot.

we tried dragging out of the ZIP folder to desktop but unable to extract completely. While processing it self a error will be prompted .

" An unexpected error is keeping you copying the the file.If you continue to receive this error, you can use error code to search for help with this promblem"

If you export passwords from a password list, from the Administration -> Export all Passwords menu, or exporting the Encryptions Keys from the Admin area, this will export them to a password protected ZIP file. You may see an unexpected error when trying to open the zip file, and you do not get the opportunity to open the file:

Prior to build 8968 of Passwordstate, the built in Windows compression software cannot extract password protected zip files, using the code we were using. If you run into this error, you will be able to open this file using something like 7zip or Winzip.

Sliding-mode observers (SMOs) offer a promising solution for sensorless control of interior permanent magnet synchronous machines (IPMSMs) due to their excellent robustness to system structure and parameter uncertainty. However, in practical applications, it is challenging for an SMO to achieve a perfect estimation for the back electromagnetic force (EMF) using a finite or relatively lower sampling frequency, especially for high-speed applications. Phase shift, magnitude variation, and heavy noise in the estimated back EMF will cause unexpected errors in rotor position extraction. Thus, advanced rotor position extraction methods are needed to obtain position information from the estimated back EMF. This paper proposes a novel estimated speed feedback algorithm to work together with the conventional inverse tangent method and angle tracking observer (ATO) to extract the rotor position from the extended back EMF obtained from a discrete SMO. The extracted position has reduced oscillations compared to that obtained from traditional methods. The proposed position extraction methods are validated by simulations in MATLAB Simulink as well as experiments on a practical IPMSM drive system.
