Participate in CIKM AnalytiCup 2017!

CIKM AnalytiCup 2017 features a series of exciting data challenges with substantial cash prizes.

The second challenge tests your creativity and data science skills to design and build advanced mobility-aware applications.  Win your share of SGD17,000 in cash prizes, plus an invitation to present your solution on November 6 at CIKM 2017. That’s right, you can win a trip to beautiful tropical Singapore! So form a team with your friends, and head on over to the DataSpark Mobility Open-Task Challenge now!

To get started, all we need from your team in Phase 1 is a 2-page proposal, outlining a problem and its intended solution in the area of Mobility—for example, transportation, health and fitness, urban planning, tourism or others.  Your proposed solution would be in the form of a mobile app or a Web app, and must use at least 2 data sources: 1 from DataSpark and 1 from a public data source.  Proposals are accepted from now till May 1.  Shortlisted proposals will be given access to the data APIs in Phase 2 to develop their working solutions to enter a semi-final round by July 24.  The finalists will compete in Phase 3, which will take place at the conference.
