YATRA 2015 begins from Bidar
More than 600 students and parents participate
Bidar, 01 May 2015 : Career Yatra 2015, an initiative by India’s Leading Career Guidance Organization – CIGMA from Bangalore started off here in Bidar at the Rang Mandir with a huge response of more than 600 students and parents across Bidar district participating.
Mr. PC Jaffar, District Commissioner, Bidar District inaugurated the CAREER YATRA 2015 by releasing a handbook on “ Courses, Careers, Jobs & Scholarships after 10th / 12th std”. The 48 page Handbook has details of course and career options after 10th and 2nd PUC. A Career chart has been specifically designed and published in the book which will help students and parents plan their career well in advance. The book has a dedicated section on scholarhsips offered by government, corporates and NGOs.
In his inaugural speech, he called upon all students to have high aspirations in their life and not to aim at less. He gave a detailed presentation on Article 371J the benefits of having Hyderabad Karnataka Region Certificate. He later gave all students tips on choosing a career.
Mr. Ameen-e-Mudassar, CEO, CIGMA India and the brain behind organizing CAREER YATRA 2015 gave an overview of why career guidance is the need of the hour for students. He shared stories of students who by getting the right guidance at the right time were able to make it big in their chosen career.
In his 30 minutes presentation, he kept the audience glued to their seats and gave a detailed information on courses and careers after 10th std, PUC and scholarships available for students after their 10th std from the government and private organizations.
Host Organization Shaheen PU College secretary Mr. Abdul Qadeer also addressed the students and parents and inspired them with the success story of shaheen PU College. In his brief lecture, he made students and parents realize that its important to be a hardworking and sincere.
Other guests included Mr. Basava Kumar Patil, Colonel Sharanappa and Abdul Mannan Sait who also shared their experiences and inspired the students. The program began at 9:30am and conclude at 1:30pm and each student who participated was given a FREE COPY of “ Handbook on Courses, Careers, Jobs and Scholarships after 10th 12th Std”
