Belgaum, 03 May 2015 : Career Yatra 2015 - CAREER GUIDANCE & SCHOLARSHIP AWARENESS PROGRAM was held here in Belgaum at Chindoli Laila Rang Mandir with more than 400 students and parents attending from various talukas of Belgaum.
Highlights of the Program were the presentation of Courses, Careers, Jobs and scholarships available after 10th / 2nd PUC by Mr. Ameen-e-Mudassar, CEO, CIGMA INDIA. He also gave the parents tips on how to help their children take better career decisions.
The students and parents paid rapt attention to all the government schemes and scholarships presented. Several parents were eager to know more about the scholarships offered by NGOs and corporates which were told to them in the presentation.
Mr. Vijay Kumar, Faculty, Department of Mechanical Engineering, Bearys Institute of Technology spoke about the various courses offered at BIT, Mangalore and gave an overview of the Engineering Courses.
Mr. Shanur Baba, an engineering graduated preparing for civil service examination also adddressed the students and volunteered to help them in choosing their career. He also spoke of his experience studying at Shaheen PU College before he pursued Engineering from Belgaum.

The CAREER YATRA now moves from Belgaum to Mangalore on 4th May 2015 to be held at Bishop Jathanna Auditorium, Balmatta, Mangalore.
