Dear Ameen-e-Mudassar,
ITC InfoTech has recently started its CSR initiative and the main focus is on
skills development for people from low income background.
The person managing the intiiative is Susan Thomas. You may want to contact them
to determine if they can sponsor anything.
At the moment they have shortlisted about 3 NGOs'. The main criteria for the NGO
was drafted by me and it is as below............
The entire thing is to be finalized by end of next week.
If Cigma meets the below criteria (and probably they may have made some changes
to the below draft), then it is worth reaching out.
Regards,
Muqueem

Hi Susan,
Some thoughts on the criteria, we can change and rephrase suitably.
Criteria to identify and propose an NGO/CSR initiative is based on
1. The NGOs’ primary activities are in line with our vision and mission for the
CSR initiative
2. The NGO is well known and reputed, does not support or is associated with any
overt/covert activities based on the lines of religious or political ideologies,
discriminations or promoting different overt/covert agendas apart from social
uplifting or wellbeing of the citizens from all walks of life.
3. The NGO has presence and is operating in areas where it is possible and
easier for the ITC InfoTech CSR team to monitor and track the activities as well
as carry our audits if required
4. The NGO has demonstrated its success in the initiatives implemented and its
past activities
5. The NGO has auditable and transparent accounts and can provide/furnish all
data at short notice
6. The NGO ensures that the maximum amount it receives from donors is spent on
the cause it exists for and minimizes the spend on any other areas
7. Associating with the NGO should also maximize ITC InfoTech visibility to
larger masses and encourage/promote participation from others (employees,
partners, and even competition) towards the cause
