500+ students & Parents throng the venue !
Gulbarga, 02 May 2015 : Career Yatra 2015 - CAREER GUIDANCE & SCHOLARSHIP AWARENESS PROGRAM was held here in Gulbarga at the Chamber of Commerce Hall with more than 500 students and parents flooding the venue and more than 150 students and parents could not participate due to paucity of space and had to return home !!
The program started off with the release of the CIGMA Career Handbook on Courses, Careers, Jobs and Scholarships after 10th and 2nd PUC by Mr. Abdul Qadeer, Secretary, Shaheen Group of Institutions, Bidar , Mr. Ishaq Saudagar, Chairman, National Education Society and Mr. Ameen-e-Mudassar, CEO, CIGMA INDIA.
Mr. Ameen-e-Mudassar made a detailed presentation on various courses after 10th. He told the students to choose their course based on their aptitude, personality and genuine interest. He gave many examples on how students make a wrong career choice and hence later suffer.
Mr. Ilyas, IAS, Assistant Commissioner, Gulbarga District later joined the program as a special guest and motivated students to take the right career decision and explore the plethora of opportunties available. He also highlighted the opportunities in government sector and called upon the youngsters to take up civil services.
Mr. Abdul Qadeer, Secretary, Shaheen Group of Institutions also addressed the students and shared the success stories of Shaheen in Medical and Engineering Programs. Mr. Iqbal Ali, Secretary, Millat Baitulmaal Trust, Gulbarga & Mrs. Qamar Sultana, Principal, Shaheen PU College, Gulbarga also spoke on the occassion
