Hi Everyone,
We recently shared several LinkedIn posts for the CoG Industry Day sessions that ToG will be hosting this year, and we would really appreciate your help spreading the word!
Our submission deadline is August 14, 2026, at 11:59:59 PM AoE. It is coming up quickly, and we hope to reach as many communities as possible. Please note that both sessions will be hybrid, and online participation is free to encourage participation from individuals and communities who might not otherwise be able to attend.
We'd really appreciate it if you could help amplify the calls by liking, sharing, or reposting the LinkedIn posts below:

Open Problems from Industry: Call for Lightning Talk Presenters
Open Problems from Industry: Call for Open-Problem Proposals
You can also share these opportunities directly with anyone in your networks who may be interested. A brief overview of the calls is included below:
Lightning talks on academic publishing: We are looking for editors, reviewers, and experienced industry or academic researchers to give 5-6-minute talks on topics such as preparing a strong submission, framing industry work for academic venues, and navigating the review process.
Mentorship breakout volunteers: We are recruiting senior industry researchers, editors, and reviewers with academic publishing experience to lead small-group discussions with attendees working through early-stage publication ideas.
Open-problem proposals and lightning talks: We are inviting industry researchers and practitioners to submit open research problems, gaps, or emerging challenges that they believe could benefit from academic collaboration. Submitters may also indicate whether they would like to be considered for a 5-6-minute lightning talk.
Additional information about both sessions, including the full calls for participation and submission forms, is available on the session website: https://sites.google.com/view/togatcog/home
Thank you so much for helping us spread the word! Let us know if you have any questions about the sessions.
Best,
