The Nature Conservancy of Canada is hiring for a 2-year Conservation Coordinator position in St. John’s, NL. Please circulate this opportunity among your networks. The majority of the work the incumbent will focus on will be investigating the application of alternative conservation mechanisms with the goal of recognizing existing and new areas that meet the Canada Target 1 Decision Support Tool criteria as protected areas or as being protected through other effective area-based conservation measures (OECM). The position will involve a combination of office and field-based work and is location-specific (i.e., position is located in St. John’s). The closing date for applications is January 27^th, 2023.
