##EDIT: to anyone who stumbles on this in the future, the "Profile.xml" is case sensitive. If you attempt to use "profile.xml" for the cisco VPN client, it will not work. @alemabrahao had the solution dead on, this is just a reminder to double check the case of your file.
We are not sure what specific issue you are referring to. The last round of issues were resolved by a macOS update and we also put in a workaround from our side. Please reach out to ac-mobile...@cisco.com if you need help with something still not functioning properly with current Secure Client and macOS versions.
I wanted to know if anyone has a quick way to modify the Cisco anyconnect installer pkg to include the default VPN server info so the user does not need to add this themselves and pretty much makes it a zero configuration install.
I do have composer 8.52 I think. I tried it yesterday however did not have success due to it not working when it opened after installing or not being sure if I was modifying the correct file in the pkg anyconnectprofile.xsd I think was the name.
Open /opt/cisco/anyconnect/profile/new.xml from TextWrangler and delete all except fields as below; (some versions had the new.xml location is /opt/cisco/vpn/profile/new.xml so if the file is not in the above location please have a look in this location).
From the terminal emulator, go inside the vpn directory under the anyconnect-4.x.xxxxx directory (where the folder was extracted in Step 9) and execute the installation script as root: # ./vpn_install.sh
i a new to Palo alto world. one of my user is trying to connect a VPN connection using anyconnect, but it not working when traffic is passing from palo alto, but when i access it from open internet it is working fine.
