The Marine Biology Section of La Societe Jersiaise is pleased to present a public talk by Carl Meyer (University of Hawaii) on:
Shark Tech: Tracking Hidden Hunters of the Deep
Carl is a former States of Jersey Fisheries Officer who has spent several years working on the biology and behaviour of large sharks in the Pacific Ocean. During his talk he will be explaining how scientists are using sophisticated electronic devices to gain new insights into the biology of some of the world's largest predators.

The talk is open to all comers but space in the Members' Room is limited and people will be admitted on a first come basis.
