On Saturday 8th September 2012 the Jersey Biodiversity Partnership will be holding its seventh annual meeting at the Durrell International Training Centre, Trinity. The meeting is open to all existing JBP members and to anyone else with an interest in Jersey’s natural heritage.

This year’s meeting will focus on Jersey’s participation in the United Nations International Decade of Biodiversity 2011-2020. There will be presentations by local and visiting experts on some of Jersey’s most iconic species including red squirrels, the ormer, bats and wall lizards. There will also be an afternoon presentation and interactive workshop which will examine and debate Jersey’s protected habitat policies. The meeting will also review recent work undertaken by the JBP and discuss what is planned for 2013 and beyond. Presentations include:

The JBP actively encourages more groups or volunteers to join.
