Hi OP, apologies for joining in a little late here but I did want to see if you had looked into any Gamma solutions for this? If you are still open to researching some additional options, it might be worth taking a look at our Horizon Hosted Phone System to see if it could be a good fit! To provide a little more information, Horizon is a complete communications service for your business that resides in the cloud and provides an extensive range of fixed and mobile telephony capabilities via an easy-to-use web portal. The service allows you to easily manage your environment and we are responsible for the hardware and software, including system upgrades. In terms of hardware we do offer choices from several manufacturers, Polycom, Cisco, and Yealink included.
Users access the system through a standard IP handset or a softphone, and calls are made and received over a broadband connection to the Gamma network. From there they are routed to PSTN fixed and mobile devices.This could give your organisation access to low-cost and free IP calling, as well as a huge range of smart call management features.

I've had it explained that it's the phone being told to stop ringing, but it occurs as soon as the call is made and the phone starts ringing. It also isn't connected to any softphones or external handsets as it occurs on extensions that have no other associations or groups.
