In case you're ever interested in coding Photoshop plugins again the new model appears to be CAM16-UCS, though JzAzBz is reportedly more uniform and can be found here and Matlab code here.
Thanks for the CIECAM02 plugin, it's real nice having this right inside Photoshop.
