Fans of the "Comics I Don't Understand" site were surprised and saddened to learn of the death of the site's founder and prime mover, Bill Bickel.

Along with condolences and appreciative recollections of Bill's friendly and mature presence, CIDUers (fans of the site, online participants) have been posting thoughts about whether and how the site can be re-established, if it cannot be continued forward in place on current hosting.
