I was wondering whether anyone in UK or Europe has experience using 375 ml bottles rather than the 500 ml bottles commonly used in the UK, and if so, what sort of customer reaction you've had to them.

Right bottle for the right market.
Drinkers want a pint,
Poncy bars and restaurants want 330ml.
Half wine bottles will appeal to those eating a meal and where they will work is that the perception of 500ml and 330ml is that they will contain fizzy product, whereas a wine bottle gives a different impression unless they are half Champagne bottles.

Ultimately, if you go just with half wine bottles you will be restricting your market.

I am doing a bit of bottling in 750ml wine bottles as well as champagne and 500ml for different markets. Denis is right it gives a certain impression that is appropriate for different shops and bars.
Personally I looked at the 375ml bottles for some time but decided against as they usually contain cheap wine to be drunk at lunchtime in cafes and don't in my opinion give a look of quality. In a cafe you will probably be more likely to sell cider as 330 or 500ml and fizzy. Not sure where else they would work? Would love to know if I am missing a potential market with these.
