There is a Voran 100P1 for sale on UK Ebay at the moment. It says it
is a 100P2 but I thought they had 2 beds.
Either way it looks in new condition and is cheap at the moment and
includes cloths, slats etc.
Nothing to do with me whatsoever, just thought it might interest
someone on here. (I already have one)
Item number 250592195245
Seller also has scratter mill for sale

It certainly isn't a 100P2, the rail should extend front and back for the
two trays, and it's mentioned that there's only enough racks/cloths for one
tray. IMO unless you're working as a team of at least two, ideally three,
the single tray is perfectly adequate. We never use both, it would just be
extra racks and cloths to clean at the end of the day.

It looks great... and one day I hope to advance on to something like this.
However, £1500???? I think I might have to sell a bit of cider before I can
justify that! Is that price about right (for those that know these things?)

All the best

I think it is cheap at that price. It looks almost brand new and is
about a third the price of a brand new one.
Mine is a 2 bed press and I have never yet used both beds although i
did get very tempted this season. The biggest downside as far as i am
concerned with using 2 beds is that there would need to be 2 people
there and the mill would be going almost constantly. It makes too much
of a racket as it is!
The catalog claims a single bed press can make up to 300 litres per
hour, and a 2 bed press can double that. I think I work pretty hard
but I have never got 300 litres an hour. I expect the closest I have
got is when pressing Crispin, which are incredibly high yielding, and
even then probably 250 litres per hour maximum. Even then I am waiting
for the press, it isn't waiting for me.

Hi Frank,

That post you replied to is over 3 years old, that press will be long gone.

Take a look at these links for new models:
