Hi all,

I'm finally biting the bullet and selling our cider press and set up – I was going to post on eBay but just wondering if this is the best platform?  (Based in the British Isles if this makes any difference, though shipping internationally is a possibility).  If anyone has any thoughts on alternative selling platforms or considerations for selling large / a lot of kit I'd really appreciate it.

Thanks in advance & hope the season is looking good for everyone,

Charlotte

I would post it on as many as you can, start with a list on your facebook page, then post that link here and to the cider related facebook groups, list the items on facebook market place and on e-bay.

Thanks Vince, hadn't thought about FB as rarely use it these days, but a good shout!

Steve & Gareth, selling a 20ft high cube container fitted with a 650kg - 800kg per hour washer, elevator mill & belt press (with compatible compressor, pressure washer and boiler); then a load of additional fermenting and bottling kit: 3 SS fermentation vessels (500l,  500l jacketed + pressure, 800l pressure).  500 SS mixing tank + agitator, 3 SS pasteuration baths.  2 labellers (semi-auto and a conveyor one).  Pumps, Chiller, Heat exchange and a brand new (literally unboxed) can seamer.  That's most of the large bits I think, plenty of supplementary processing sundries too.

Cheers,
Charlotte

Cheers Charlotte
Having just invested in anew mill and press this year I have been under strict instructions not to buy anymore equipment this year, however I might  well be interested in more details including pricing on the semi auto labeler, the can seamer  and possibly the agitator mix tank, though the reality is that we generally mix in 200-250litre batches so that maybe too big.
Feel free to message me off-board as above or at in...@ciddu.co.uk.
Best
Gareth
