Cider making in Russia

One of my orchard owners has a colleague from Russia who is wanting to start up a small scale commercial cider-making enterprise there and they are looking for sources of help and advice for him.  I have offered to provide help if he comes over here to have a look around but I wondered if there are any Russian cider-makers on this group who I could put him in touch with?

Sally, I don't know about cydermakers over there but do know that there is a commited outlet/bar in Belgorod, Southern Russia, the proprietor of which I met at Ross Fest one year. The chap was at the time keen to get some U.K. scrump on offer at his place and I believe a few of our blokes where keen to get on board. Mike at Ross may have the Russian chaps details. The Belgorod fella could help your friend perhaps and would be a useful sales contact over there anyway. Regards, Ny.
