I just noticed this paper (abstract only). https://cdnsciencepub.com/doi/10.1139/CJPS-2021-0167. The work seems to have been done at Guelph, Ontario.

Could be of interest to people in that area.

Thanks for posting the link Andrew. Interesting. I live in New Brunswick. Except for Calville Blanc d’Hiver and Golden Russet, most of those varieties are not grown here, although some (including myself) are experiementing with Yarlington Mills. I was surprised to see Calville Blanc d'Hiver rank so poorly; it is considered one of our heritage varieties. It has survived some pretty cold winters here.
