Glad to see that this is being considered. Contrary to what the report states though, I find there is total confusion here in Germany about the difference between cider and Apfelwein; which is happily exploited by low-juice producers to market there products in misleading ways.
Would be nice if ORTs would also include something related to regionality of fruit. But I'd be happy with just a 100% fresh juice, not from concentrate standard.
Not holding my breath though.

I share Patrick's view (Hi Patrick!) regarding the 100% fresh juice.  (I know the definition of "craft" cider has been extensively debated on this forum in the past and I'm not trying to restart that discussion, but I think the minimum common denominator for nearly everyone is that craft cider should be made of juice that is not appreciably diluted or supplemented with water or sugar or anything else).  I don't care much what the industrial cider producers call their syrupy/fruit flavored products, but I do think some standard should prevent industrial produts from calling themselves "craft."

I agree 100% with Patrick .. cider and apfelwein are not truly defined here in Germany.
I think mainly because Cider or the idea of Cider is relatively new.
We had a good example of one of our ciders being judged at the Cider World in Frankfurt
and receiving very low points ( under 80 ) . The judges were basing their judging on Apfelwein
parameters. The cider was a keeved Dabinett with 10 % Boskop. No where near what apfelwein is . The same Cider went on to win Silver at the ICC and Gold at the IWSC.
As small to medium cidermakers ( Patrick and others in our network) we struggle to
persuade the buying public as to what real cider  is.
That and the mass producers peddling
their high sugar , water diluted alcopop style of „ cider „ makes our battle even harder to try and define cider.

In regards to the report , I noticed there were very few respondents to the survey therefore
, it’s not really representative of the industry , in my opinion .
Cheers Steve

Approaching this from a practical standpoint:

If I want to go where many people go to look for new stuff j Amazon - the search mask entry for Muxaller tells me that it has been searched for quite a few times, but the results only show the usual suspects.

Why not ask someone with a small webshop on that platform to start selling a wide range of smaller producers? Not to make any profit, just to give people easy access.

Or ask CiderHof whether he'd like to expand his business again, now that the producers he features are down to the same usual suspects Amazon has covered?
