Hi everyone sorry to ask the question but does anyone have any idea what these apple trees are?
We are based in Dorset in the shadow of Corfe Castle.
I will post the pictures of the 3 trees in the garden with the apples it will take a couple of posts
Or can you suggest somewhere we can have the apples identified
Many thanks
Steve

Apple identification from photos like that is almost impossible without a lot more information.

Try a good book like "Apples - a Field Guide by Michael Clark" (out of print but copies available secondhand) or try the Fruit ID website https://www.fruitid.com/#main. Fruit ID also offer DNA analysis in the spring (for a fee).

You can also pay to have them identified by experts at Brogdale or the RHS

If they are cider apples then this book is good https://vigopresses.co.uk/cider-apples-the-new-pomona-liz-copas/
