I've installed one of the IVONA 2 voices and the trial period is now expired. I need to uninstall this version completely to buy and install the full version. But I can't seem to get rid of the current installation no matter how I try. It ends up with the following error.

In early July, 2024, voice options in the LAMP Words for Life app will change and Ivona voices will no longer be accessible. We wanted to inform you of this change in advance so you have time to consider your options. If you are LAMP Words for Life user and have an Ivona voice selected, you will receive a pop-up notice encouraging you to change their voice.

Inclusive voices from Almagu offer a wide range of voices that are realistic and representative of a variety of age groups: child, teen, adult, and senior. Use the voice sampler to try out the 35+ voices currently available.

Acapela is a text to speech option available for all PRC-Saltillo apps. Voice options in English (US/UK/AUS) and Spanish (North America/Europe) are available at no cost; Canadian French voice options are available as an in-app purchase.

Consider a Personal Voice for your AAC app with Apple's synthesized voice option available for devices with iOS 17. Develop your voice directly on your iPad or iPhone, save it to your device, and it can be integrated into your app when you select it from the settings menu: Settings > Voice > Choose Custom Voice > Apple Personal Voice. Note: This feature is currently only available for English voices and vocabularies.

I'm trying to use a trial version of Ivona voices to generate text-to-speech in CP5, to test the capability. The Ivona speech agents show up in the Captivate voices list, but when you generate the text-to-speech, Microsoft Sam ends up being the voice. Is there an extra step I'm missing? I was able to get this to work with the trial version of Cepstral voices, but I'm having a problem with both Ivona and Loquendo voices. Has anyone gotten this to work, and if so, what are the missing steps?

I'm all set--thanks! I am using Windows XP, so I went to the Control Panel>Speech Properties dialog and changed the Voice selection to the Ivona voice. Then I started Captivate 5 (not in Admin mode, but just normally), and now the Ivona voice is working. Thanks for your help!

Actually, after further testing, this is only partially resolved. The Ivona voice only works in Captivate if I choose it as the default TTS voice for the computer (in Control Panel). So, if I wanted to use two voices in a presentation, for example, I cannot do that because everything is output as the voice selected as the computer voice. For example, if I select Ivona voice A as the computer voice, I can use that voice in Captivate. But if I select Ivona voice A on one slide and Loquendo Simon on the next slide, the audio for both slides comes out as Ivona voice A. Any ideas why that happens?

Generation of speech inside Captivate is not related to setting a particular speaker as default system speaker. Irrespective of the system default speaker the speech should be generated for the set speaker inside Captivate.

Here I suspect there might be some problem with the speaker (or the way it is installed) as i can see you saying that speakers shipped with captivate works fine. Can you try installing the Ivona speakers again and try the speech conversion process.

Adobe Captivate sees the installed IVONA voices and it allows me to assign a different voice to each sentence. Unfortunately the audio generation fails to use the assigned voices, it uses the voice that is set as the Windows default voice (Windows 7 Control Panel Speech Recognition Test To speech). This means you can't create a dialog between two or more persons.

Damn really??? I was trying to avoid paying $45 a voice. I will check to see. Is it possible to send me a link to get the voices that will work with your program just so I can take the guesswork out of it. This mistake already cost me $40. ?

Ok Dave Awesome So i now have 7 voices and I'm pretty happy with that. Quick question I know in the past that there were issues with pilot2atc crashing when using more than one Ivona voice, Has this been sorted out or is there something else I would need to do?

I am using ATC in windows offline mode, and have added some IVONA voices, (all TTS compatable) into windows 10 and set this voice as windows default . It appears that MSFS2020 is ignoring it, still giving me a US dialect

Inclusive Voices by Almagu offer an ethnically and age-diverse collection of synthetic voices. Included by default in Accent, NovaChat and Via devices as well as LAMP Words for Life, TouchChat, and Dialogue AAC apps.

The Voice Keeper allows adults facing the prospect of losing their ability to speak the opportunity to make a synthesized version of their voice for later use with an AAC device or app. And, for children who are unable to speak, the Voice Keeper makes it easy for a family member or peer to create a personal voice for that child.

IVONA is a multilingual speech synthesis system developed at Polish IT company IVONA software, established in 2005. Since January 2013, it was acquired by Amazon for its Kindle product line for reading eBooks using IVONA voices.

Hello all,
I know the answers to this question would be subjective, but I am still curious to hear them.
With all the various TTS voices available in the VoiceDream app, which ones do you personally consider as the best ones for reading fiction books? For example, I like James from Neospeech, but I feel he is more suited for reading articles and webpages, not so much for the content where more expression is required.

Recently the developer added Ivona voices to the app. My favourite is Joey. He's very clear and I like the way he pronounces things. No synthetic voice is perfect, but Joey is (in my opinion) as good as it gets.

Frankly, I go for either Neospeech James or Ivona Brian. To me, those are the two most human sounding voices. I guess you know, but in case you don't, you can hear samples of all of the available voices within Voice Dream under the voice store in settings.

Like most of us, reading speed is important to me. I bought one of the Ivona voices for my 4th generation Touch, and while it sounds great in the sample, it cannot operate at the speeds I usually use for reading. The Neospeech voices go plenty fast for me. Until I upgrade to newer hardware, I won't be using Ivona.

One of my favorite voices is Neospeech Bridget. I find that she sounds pleasant, and has some expression. Other voices I like include Neospeech James and Julie, Ivona Amy and Salli, and Acapela Rachel, Tracy and Lucy.

I have an iPad air 2. Ivona is the most expensive and most recommended quality voice. Speed and comprehension are my objectives. With practice the 700 word maximum is not as fast as I would like. I have found that voice dream reader is an incredible resource for brain stimulation while accumulating knowledge. Ivona Sally is The best that I have downloaded so far. Set at 700 not sure how accurate The speed is but clarity is excellent. Pausing after each sentence is helpful. Anyone with suggestions to help are appreciated.

I just upgraded to Salli from Ivona after reading the reviews and using the samples. I had Heather and James loading on in a package when I bought the app. I felt going past 270 words per minute with Heather and James was phonetically grating, and I liked the sample of Salli. The voice capabilities of Salli has far better range and her voice is realitively soothing. It was $7 on iTunes. A little pricey, but it seems worth it. The improvement in quality is a bit shocking. I enjoy listening that much more. Two thumbs up for Salli and can listening at much faster reading speeds.

Hi, I read a lot of Harry Potter fanfiction and for that I use the Acapella Peter (Happy) voice. I find that he reads quite well and has a lot of inflection and the tone is just awesome for the Harry Potter Universe all around. I so can't wait for VoiceDreamReader 4.0. I hope it will be coming soon.

Before owning my first iPhone, I owned Motorola phones and Samsung. I used many TTS apps until one day I found Ivona TTS. I really liked the sound of their voices because, at least to me, they are far better and less robotic than the other TTS engines out there.

Sadly, I don't know for how much longer Ivona voices will work with programs like Voice Dream Reader. The company does not exist anymore, and with the changes that always seem to go through iOS during updates, there is a chance with every major update that the Ivona voices will cease working. I hope not, though, as I too love Ivona voices.

The 2 non voice-over voices that i use are ivona Sally and acapela Sharon. But what i would like to see is a way to use either google tts or eloquence. I really like eloquence and i use it for voice dream for android. Id also like to see vocalizer zoe as well.

Of course, it depends on the person.
I've used the voice 'Heather' my entire life, starting in read2go and I was very happy to find it in voicedream. I think it's less about how good or bad the voice may be, but how comfortable you are with it. (I'm approaching 250 words per minute with this one.)

Does anyone know of any other high quality voice packs other than Ivona (I have most of them). I am looking for more variety in my ATC, not that the english accents are bad, it would just be nice to have a few more to throw into the mix, I have 4 or 5 of them already. Also, if anyone knows of any voice packs that are various European accents (german, dutch, italian, spanish, french etc.) but speaking English I would appreciate those suggestions too.

I am a big fan of the Ivona voices, they work flawlessly and always sound great. I had them for VoxATC and I know use them with P2ATC. Cereproc is also supposed to be good but I don't have them so can't comment. I heard that there was some problems with Cereproc and Pilot2ATC but that may have been resolved, Dave the P2ATC developer can answer that questions.
