Hey everyone,

Super last minute, I know, but I just got the call from Matt Schodorf that Councilmember Huizar will not be in City Hall today so our motion will NOT get heard. Word is it has been postponned until next Tuesday, which is essentially a good thing because it means the Huizar wants to be in person to make sure this thing gets through. Let me know if you have any questions you can call my cell 213 219 1838. Thanks again.

Ramon, Dave Matsu and I went down to make sure that the postponement happened as announced... and it did (sometimes these things get mixed up, so I wanted to just hear it for myself what actually happened.)

We checked in with Paul Backstrom (Rosendahl's transportation deputy) and asked him if he saw any problems or anything to hold up the motion's passage (sometimes postponing means that something is in trouble) - and he said he hadn't heard anything. Councilmember Huizar was unable to attend today, and it looks like Huizar just wants to be present, so he can speak in favor of the motion... which is great... but it meant a little last minute delay.

So, it looks fine for Tuesday... Tuesday 10am...
