Please come on down to the monthly meeting of the South L.A. CicLAvia host committee: Tomorrow - Wednesday April 20th 6pm-8pm at NEW LOCATION: All Peoples Christian Center: 822 E. 20th Street, L.A. 90011. It's a block southeast of Washington and San Pedro - easy walk/bike distance from the Metro Blue Line San Pedro Station.

Hello Everyone,

 

April 10^th 2011 was an amazing day and the first Ciclavia of the year was a ringing success! The streets were full of people (over 100,000 was reported by the news Media and LAPD) and their faces were full of smiles. Our feeder ride was also a great success. About 40 people attended and wore their new Ciclavia South LA Shirts proudly. Also over this last weekend Outreach was conducted at the South LA Earth Day event hosted by Community Services Unlimited and Also at the California Endowment 'Community Collaborative' both in South LA. There were alot of interested people and we will definitely find a lot of support as we begin to let folks know about our plans.

 

This week we have our next Host Committee on Wednesday April 20^th at 6pm. This weeks meeting will be at the All People’s Christian Center. It’s Address is:822 East 20th Street and our Host there will be Sergio, Maritza and Deisy! (Thanks guys for setting this up. :) ) As usual everyone is invited and if you can or cannot make it please let me know.
