Hello everyone!

Still interested in Volunteering for CicLAvia 10.09.11 and haven't done so? Well we still have slots available! All shift are about 2 hours so you can still enjoy the event and volunteer! Shift and locations are as follows:

Shift times and locations are as follows:

SHIFTS:
9am – 11am – set-up
10:30am – 12:30pm
12n – 2pm
1:30pm – 3:30pm
3pm – 4:30pm – clean-up

HUB LOCATIONS:
Hollenbeck Park – 4th Street and Saint Louis Street, Boyle Heights
City Hall – 1st Street and Spring Street, Downtown
MacArthur Park – 7th Street at Alvarado Street, Westlake
Hel-Mel Bicycle District – Heliotrope Drive at Melrose Avenue, East Hollywood
El Pueblo - Main near Cesar Chavez near Chinatown
African American Firefighter Museum - Central Avenue at 14th Street, Fashion District

If you would also like to volunteer for Pre.10.09.11 CicLAvia Outreach we start MONDAY Oct 3rd for our second route notification which includes door-to-door canvassing to residents and businesses along the route regarding street closure times and alternative parking. All shifts are 2-2.5 hours. Those dates, times and locations are as follows:

* MondayOct 3rd: 10AM-Little Tokyo, 1pm-Downtown and 6PM-Hollenbeck Park
* Tuesday Oct 4th: 10AM-South LA, 1pm-Downtown and 6PM-Koreatown
* Wednesday Oct 5th: 10AM-Union-Pico, 1pm-Downtown and 6PM-Koreatown
* Thursday Oct 6th: 10AM-Downtown, 1pm-MacArthur Park, 6PM-Bicycle District
