I have now added Korean names validation to my internationalised programming challenge ➜ jsfiddle.net/coas/4djhso1y

Validating Korean names is proving to be both interesting and challenging. I am validating Korean names in their hangul, hanja and romanised forms. When thinking of Korean names one should think in terms of syllables. I will take the example of a famous Korean singer and songwriter whose Korean hangul name is 박예은 which consists of 3 syllables. Her Hanja name is 朴譽恩 and her romanised (Revised Romanisation) name is Bak Ye-eun.

As usual with programming, one needs to consider edge cases to account for names which are exceptional to common practice.

If there are any Koreans on this list: Are there any edge cases which I have not taken into account?
