Student Names & a new related programming challenge

I have long considered that UK Universities should store and use the native script and the romanised form of their international studentsʼ names. Does anyone know if there is any UK University that does this? I do not know of any. What of Universities in other English speaking countries? Do you know of any that store and and use the native script and the romanised form of their international studentsʼ names?

I reason that Universities in non English speaking countries may actually do something like this. Take a Thai university with many international students. I imagine that it would store and use the Thai form for their Thai students. What of non Thai students? Would it store names in the romanised form or would it store the native script names of their international students?
