The idea is to have some little scrolling graphs that scroll along and/or
icons the indicate various phone states (battery, mobile signal, wifi
signal)

I did an update today to the Tube Status app/widget, I've submitted a pull
request to Joe.
The changes are:
Adding support for all london tube lines, DLR and overground
The user can press up/down to change selection and middle to
force a refresh of the selected line
