java.io.IOException: Service discovery failed

Last night, when I left the watch in the charger, with the phone
running OpenWatch + the Cicada widget screen. This morning, the watch
display had gone blank, and button presses brought up the "Apollo
Prototype" screen, and attempts to reconnect in OpenWatch keep putting
up "Service discovery failed" toasts. I'm trying different ways of
resetting things; I'll reply to this thread if/when I manage to revive
it.
