Seerah Competition Updates & Help Needed

Assalam Alaikum wr wb 

Seerah Competition is on APRIL 20th, inshAllah. Format of the competition has been emailed to participants. 

REGISTRATION & PARTNER INFO.

Registration for Seerah Competition 2013 ends THIS FRIDAY, March 22nd at MIDNIGHT! 

IMPORTANT** Those who have not  been able to find partners (levels 2 and 3), you must email us 

at mcws....@gmail.com before Friday (midnight) letting us know, so that we may register you and find you a partner. 

If you're still thinking about whether to participate or not, here are a few things to think about

• You're learning the Seerah of our Beloved Prophet Muhammad (saw) - what could be better than that? 
• Prizes are for ALL participants and awards go to to TOP 10 scorers from EACH category
• It's so much fun learning with friends - FREE coaching sessions 10 - 1 @ MCWS on Saturdays now till day of Competition
• You'll be part of one of the most awesome community events of the year!

COACHING SESSIONS HAVE BEGUN

If you missed the last one, you dont want to miss another! Saturday March 23, 30, April 6 and 13, 10 - 1 @ MCWS. Parents are reminded to drop off and pick up their children promptly. 

HELP NEEDED

Alhamdulilah many participants from surrounding communities (Bloomfield, Troy, Ann Arbor, Ohio, Canada & others) will be joining us. We have been approached by Ikhlas Academy in Detroit wanting to be part of this effort as well. They have requested transportation to and from Coaching Sessions for the remaining 4 coaching sessions. We are asking any brothers who could help shuttle the students from Ikhlas on the following dates : Saturday March 23, 30, April 6 and 13. There are about 25 kids, so we would need 5-6 cars / vans. We know our wonderful community should be able to provide our fellow brothers / sisters this assistance. If you can help please email mcws....@gmail.com

WHAT CAN YOU DO?

Some of you have been asking how you can help out in this cause, there are various ways, please email us at mcws....@gmail.com

• You can volunteer during coaching or on the day of the competition 
• Donate to support the cause
• Donate / Sponsor prizes (approx. $100 per award)(Email us with which level you would like to sponsor for, and the # of prizes)
• Become a Gold / Silver / Bronze level Sponsor. Please contact hajera...@gmail.com for sponsorship info. 
• Make lots of DUA!
• Stay POSITIVE! Help others stay positive!. The fact that our kids are learning seerah should be sufficient for us to reward them ourselves, regardless of how they perform at the competition. Please try to keep your child's focus on learning seerah and not whether they win / lose at the competition. InshAllah they will have gained so much just by learning about our Prophet Muhammad (saw)!
