Guys,

Can any one help me out with my slowed down Samsung galaxy S-2 Duos which is also called S7562?

After the latest android ICS update which added blocking mode it went slow. I did reset the phone, didn't help much though.

Some blog and a few forums suggested rooting. Did try to read about it, not convinced as it says it will take off my warranty.

Any suggestions? Shall I root / route the phone? How does that help then providing me administrator like access to the directory structure?

Joshua....I know can suggest some thing for me I am sure, and he specifically mentioned to me about his Android operation skills. Other's may contribute too.
