Youcan also see the Qsuite configuration in the larger A350-1000, which I flew on during my return leg from Singapore to Doha. This is a larger plane with 46 suites in business, with the rear 8 suites separated by the central exit, galley and toilets. Economy has 281 seats.

On the smaller Dreamliner the seats are the same (windows A&K and centre E&F) but there are just 6 rows with row 1 near the galley (but with more space as above). Row 6 only has central seats which are nestled between the toilets and backing on to Economy, so these are probably ones to avoid.

Quite a lot compared to some of their competitors. Storage is often a problem with business class products; there seems to be endless space but no where you can put anything without having to get up and down to access the overhead bin (which I can barely reach!)

Qsuites has a rather neat little bin in the armrest which stores water, has a space for magazines / laptops, a phone, other personal items (including your headphones and amenity kit) and a slightly larger (but oddly shaped) section which I could just about get a evening-sized handbag into.

You get the standard noise cancelling headphones like pretty much all business class products although I will say these were especially comfortable which is what you need on a long flight. The sound was great and you can adjust the size to fit.

All of the Qatar products have a table that folds in half to make a smaller table for drinks and snacks that does allow you to keep something there while getting in and out of your seat; alternatively there are plenty of other side table spaces available to store a drink in flight if you want the table totally out of your way.

Qatar likes to keep a bit of theatre around its dining and each time someone came to set my table it came with the standard table cloth and mini salt and pepper mills but also a cute little lantern which was a small thing but it did make it feel more like dining as opposed to mid-air feeding time.

As with all airlines, they will take your preference for breakfast towards the beginning of the flight, including whether you want waking 90 minutes before landing for a hot breakfast or 45 minutes before landing for drinks and a light breakfast.

The Doha to Stockholm route was even more disappointing but I think again down to my own choices (or perhaps it was just generally more shoddy on the older Dreamliner?), although there was a real lack of Arabic options.

The snack selection is pretty impressive and not just the standard cup noodle you have to forage for yourself on BA. They have a selection of mini snacks (which you can order all of if you like!) and some flights offer a selection of mini sliders and chips. I was even asked ahead of time if any of these should be reserved for me for later and when I might like them so you can really plan out a comprehensive eating schedule on your flight!

Of the One World airlines Qatar really does have the best seat, the best food, the best service and best entertainment and, if you are happy to originate your flight in some of the cheaper locations (Oslo and Stockholm typically) then it can actually be very cost effective too.

Qatar Airways operate 3 daily flights between Singapore and Doha, so we thought it a good option for our journey back from Malaysian Borneo. Even better was when we heard the route was operated by a new Airbus A350-900. Also, we found it was being operated on the last flight of each day, which worked well with our inbound flight from Kota Kinabalu. This Qatar Airways business class flight from Singapore to Doha was everything we hoped it would be. Read on to see why.

After completing the usual arrival formalities, we entered the lounge to find it surprisingly quiet. It was bright and clean, with a few of floral arrangements. Seating was a combination of waiting room armchairs in rows, deeper lounge chairs to the sides, and a few dining tables/chairs. All of the lounge chairs had a table beside them with integrated charging.

There was a selection of complimentary hot and cold beverages, including a modest alcohol selection. We identified the required ingredients for a Bloody Mary, so we concluded the bar would be sufficient for most.

Once seated, members of the crew came to introduce themselves, offered us a welcome drink and handed us the menus. We opted to try the ros champagne.

Being a night flight, we were also offered pyjamas in our preferred size.

Easily one of them most important sections in any flight review is the quality of the seat. The comfort of the seat can make or break our experience of an airline. A bad seat can leave us indifferent to exceptional food, beverage, and service. How did Qatar Airways fair on this business class flight from Singapore to Doha?

Avoid seats on row 1, as the noise and light from the galley may be disturbing. TV screens above 1E and F may also be a distraction. The mini cabin after the vestibule area may seem appealing, although service is slower/patchier back there. The proximity of the toilets in front of row 7, and infant bassinets being hooked on the bulkhead behind row 9, make us avoid the mini cabin.

Away from the fizz, the drinks menu splits into 3 red and 3 white wines, a dessert wine, port. Selected premium aperitifs and sprits are were available. We indulged in a delicious Old Fashioned and a Bloody Mary before our meals.

The flight arrived into Doha at around 5am Singaporean time, so we slept the second half of the flight and skipped the second meal service. The light meal service was about 90 minutes before landing, with options that ranged from laksa noodle soup to afternoon tea. We were sad to miss out on afternoon tea, especially after trying it once on a flight from Oslo. Equally, we were pleased to arrive in Doha feeling rested!

Our flight landed at Hamad International Airport just before midnight local time, this was on-schedule and gave us a 1 h 45 m layover in Doha. Just enough time to hit the lounge! Following a fairly long taxi to the stand, we disembarked through an air bridge into the terminal.

I recently decided to treat myself to flying Qatar Airways Business Class, and want to share a review of the experience with you. In this Qatar Business Class Review I will cover all my thoughts and opinions on what it was like to fly Business with Qatar Airways, including what the Qsuite is like!

Additionally, my wine glass was never empty for more than 45 seconds, which you know I love. All in all, I was given such attentive service for the entire flight, and it really elevated the experience.

My favourite menu item is the Signature Arab Mezze (in the photo below), which I had as my starter on every single flight. It is so yummy, and consists of hummus, tabouleh, baba ghanoush and Arabic bread.

As you can see, the Qsuites are basically small rooms (or suites) that go around the entirety of your seat. You can open and close the door as you please, and enjoy the utmost privacy during your flight.

I believe that for a review to be as good as possible, you should be able to find both positives and negatives and weigh them up against each other in order to give the reader the best impression of what to expect.

There is a permanent footrest under your screen, as with many Business Class seats (including both of the other Qatar Airways business class setups I have flown with), and you can adjust the position of your entire seat, to ensure you reach it.

When closing the door to the suite, I felt like I was all alone on the plane (in a good way!), and could tap away on my computer and enjoy my red wine and Disney movie (a great Bordeaux and Luca) in peace.

Qatar Business Class is a topic that sparks much debate among travelers. Some argue that the cost of upgrading is simply not worth it, while others believe it adds tremendous value to their journey. Ultimately, whether or not Qatar Business Class is worth it is a question that everyone needs to answer for themselves.

After all, what may be worth it for me might not be the case for someone else. So, if you have the means and the opportunity, I highly recommend giving Qatar Business Class a try. You might just find yourself embracing the extra comfort and indulgence it offers.

Welcome, everybody, to this new Flight-Report! Today, I will be taking you along with me to fly in Qatar Airways' Qsuites on the A350-900 from Singapore to Doha.

This review will cover the airport experiences in Singapore and Doha, as well as the onboard hard and soft products. For each aspect of the experience, I will rate it on a scale of 1 to 10. The final score for the full experience is 91 out of 100.

Welcome Onboard

Once onboard the aircraft, two flight attendants, including the Cabin Manager, warmly welcomed me onboard. I walked through the forward galley and turned right, and found my (spotless) Qsuite quite quickly. Immediately, another flight attendant, Osathee from Thailand, flew over to my seat to introduce himself and tell me that he would be taking care of me on this flight. He then asked me for my choice of a welcome drink, and I opted for a Lime&Mint (QR's signature drink) and Soda water mix.

Soon, Osathee came back with my beautifully presented drink, alongside a Diptyque refreshing towel and the menus.

PRE-DEPARTURE SERVICE SCORES 9/10.

We pushed back soon and the safety video was shown. QR's new safety video features a multitude of their destinations. If I'm being honest, this was far from a captivating safety video, and I miss the old football-themed one (but all this is just my personal preference). During the taxi to the runway, Osathee came around taking meal orders but had to abandon another passenger halfway as we lined up on Changi's runway 20L for our take-off towards the south. The spool-up was at 11:07, 22 minutes behind schedule.
