Azure Cloud Shell is an interactive, authenticated, browser-accessible terminal for managing Azureresources. It provides the flexibility of choosing the shell experience that best suits the way youwork, either Bash or PowerShell.

When I click the shell icon >_ on the tool bar, the shell opens on the lower half of the screen for a moment, stating it is provisioning the instance (if it has been over an hour), established a connection, and then poof, it closes.

Trying to start the lab. 1st step is to create the SSH keys. For doing that I need to open the Cloud Shell so I select the workshop compartment and click on the Cloud Shell button.
The issue is that I cannot open the Cloud shell due to this reason:
"You are not authorized to access Cloud Shell. The tenancy admin must add a policy to grant your access."
I guess all grants should be already applied in order to start asap with the lab.
How I can get this grant?
Could you please help?

Cloud Shell provides you with command-line access to computing resources hosted on Google Cloud. Cloud Shell is a Debian-based virtual machine with a persistent 5-GB home directory, which makes it easy for you to manage your Google Cloud projects and resources. The gcloud command-line tool and other utilities you need are pre-installed in Cloud Shell, which allows you to get up and running quickly.

This hands-on lab lets you do the lab activities yourself in a real cloud environment, not in a simulation or demo environment. It does so by giving you new, temporary credentials that you use to sign in and access Google Cloud for the duration of the lab.

After Cloud Shell is activated, you can use the command line to invoke the Cloud SDK gcloud tool or other tools available on the virtual machine instance. Later in the lab, you will use your $HOME directory, which is used in persistent disk storage to store files across projects and between Cloud Shell sessions. Your $HOME directory is private to you and cannot be accessed by other users.

gcloud compute makes connecting to your instances easy. The gcloud compute ssh command provides a wrapper around SSH, which takes care of authentication and the mapping of instance names to IP addresses.

In this article we will explain how to use PnP PowerShell inside Azure Cloud Shell. Using Azure Cloud Shell can come in handy in several scenarios. For example if policies on your local machine block you from installing PowerShell modules, you're behind a proxy which causes problems for your requests or you're on a shared machine which you don't want to pollute. With Azure Cloud Shell you open a PowerShell session which runs within Azure and outputs to you through i.e. a normal web browser via shell.azure.com, Windows Terminal or using any of the growing numbers of locations throughout the Microsoft products where the Azure Cloud Shell icon is visible (Microsoft 365 Admin Center, Teams Admin Center, Azure Portal, etc.).

Google Cloud Shell provides you with command-line access to computing resources hosted on Google Cloud Platform and is available now in the Google Cloud Platform Console. Cloud Shell makes it easy for you to manage your Cloud Platform Console projects and resources without having to install the Google Cloud SDK and other tools on your system. With Cloud Shell, the Cloud SDK gcloud command and other utilities you need are always available when you need them.

Note: The gcloud command-line tool is the powerful and unified command-line tool in Google Cloud. It comes preinstalled in Cloud Shell. You will notice its support for tab completion. For more information, see gcloud command-line tool overview.

After Cloud Shell launches, you can use the command line to invoke the Cloud SDK gcloud command or other tools available on the virtual machine instance. You can also use your $HOME directory in persistent disk storage to store files across projects and between Cloud Shell sessions. Your $HOME directory is private to you and cannot be accessed by other users.

Lacework integrates with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to analyze Cloud Audit Logs and assess cloud resource configurations at the organization level or at the project level. The Lacework platform ingests configuration and audit log information from GCP and reports alerts for anomalous behavior.

Google Cloud Shell is an embedded terminal/command-line interface that can you can use within the Google Console. Cloud Shell comes with tools like Google Cloud SDK, gcloud CLI, and Terraform pre-installed to manage and automate your projects and resources.

So, the cloud, am I right? While it's always nice to get away from having to worry about failed hard drives, or backups, or patches, or a million other things, the real upside to using cloud services is that the good folks at Microsoft are able to put so much more into developing new features. Even for services like Exchange that seem mature, there are always new and unexpected ways for them to evolve as part of a huge infrastructure like Office 365 and Azure.

Azure Cloud Shell is a web-based shell experience for managing Azure resources. ACS is browser-based environment that is pre-configured and maintained in the cloud for you. ACS gives you the ability to customize your environment, but also maintains the flexibility to work from any browser.

An integrated, interactive, browser-based shell for building and administering Azure infrastructure is called the Azure Cloud Shell. You can browse or use the Azure Web Portal to access the cloud shell directly. It lets you use either the PowerShell or Bash environment.

This browser-based shell experience enables you to manage Azure resources without installing, versioning and maintaining a virtual machine. It runs on Common Base Linux Delridge. Below are the Cloud Shell features.

Cloud Shell enables $HOME persistence across various sessions. Cloud Shell allows you to attach Azure file share on its first launch to keep your files across multiple sessions. After it is completed, Azure Cloud Shell will attach your storage file ( $HOME\clouddrive) for all further sessions automatically. In addition, it keeps your $HOME directory as a .img in Azure File share.

Azure Cloud Shell is a flexible tool with multiple access points. It can be used from shell.azure.com, Azure CLI documentation, portal.azure.com, Azure mobile app, and Visual Studio Code Azure Account extension.

While the Cloud Shell machines are temporary, your files can be persisted in two ways, either through a mounted file share (cloud drive) or a disk image. You can map a single file share, which both PowerShell and Bash will use in Azure Cloud Shell.

Now, you can easily streamline Azure administration with a browser-based shell and get authenticated shell access to Azure from anywhere in the world virtually. However, if you desire to use advanced Azure Files share features, you may select your preferred pricing plan.
