Please fill out the fields below so we can help you better. Note: you must provide your domain name to get help. Domain names for issued certificates are all made public in Certificate Transparency logs (e.g. crt.sh example.com), so withholding your domain name here does not increase secrecy, but only makes it harder for us to provide help.

I have been using letsencrypt for a long time and from yesterday it says in chrome and safari that my certificates are not valid(old root). I have used win-acme and when I run it yesterday I got no errors when creating the certificates, but still it says it is not valid?
Any help really appreciated, thanks.

I still have the problem. So you mean that the problem is only in my old iMac?
But I guess that everybody with an old Mac will have the same problem, or?
How do I check if it contains the ISRG X1?

I dont understand how these things work but in this post Certificated not Trusted Chrome / Safari. Chain issues incomplete - #7 by Claes the say " Change cert.pem to fullchain.pem". I dont know if thats my problem or where I can check if it is linking to the cert.pem or fullchain.pem file on my server?

Eventually, it will be the case for every old device. We haven't seen this happen on such a large scale before because HTTPS has not been in wide use for long enough, but every old device that isn't updated anymore will eventually stop working with HTTPS entirely.

Find "ISRG Root X1" in the list and double click it. There'll be a Trust menu you can open, and then change "Use System Defaults" to "Always Trust". Then close the pop up window and it should ask you to enter your password.

If you want to support older devices, then you would have to go with a certificate authority other than Let's Encrypt, and even then you're just delaying the inevitable. As I said before, all old devices will eventually stop working with HTTPS if they can't be updated any more.

I recently downloaded and installed El Capitan and since doing so have been unable to open Google chrome. Safari works just fine (however I dislike it). Attached is what comes up when I try to open Google Chrome. Please help!!

Next, I copied the googlechrome.dmg file into the Google folder, right clicked the .dmg for "Get Into," set all users to "read and write" and then launched the googlechrome.dmg file from the Google folder by double-clicking it.

Protip: Read all of the offered solutions to familiarize yourself with the file structure and how to get your LIBRARY to show before attempting my solution. I tried ALL of these other suggestions and NONE of them worked--until I figured out what Dialbrain was trying to tell us.

That seems strange. I upgraded to the El Capitan and chrome worked fine. Would be interesting to find out what version of the apple OS were you using prior to the upgrade to El Capitan? Did you attempt to remove and reinstall chrome? I am also getting a feeling there may have been some other issue that occurred with the machine while the upgrade was happening but please let us know.

Hi. For me neither, Chrome isn't working. I was on OS 10.8.5 before upgrading to El Capitan. Now, when I launch Chrome, the display is broken in a myriad of horizontal colors. Have you seen that before? Can you help?

Chrome was working sort of ok for me, but Safari isn't at all. However, I notice that on both Safari and Chrome, Google itself isn't working. Gmail won't load, even the google search page doesn't like to load. I need Google docs for work, and I can't open any of it. I just updated on Friday, and nothing but browser problems since.

I have been seeing the same issue. I tried re-installing chrome, but that did not help. I notice it happens a lot when I am on pages with embedded videos, such as Facebook, but also garbles the frame when I am browsing gmail in the browser. Scrolling up and down temporarily resets it back to normal.

Download Firefox. You shouldn't be using Google Chrome; it's questionable business practices aside, Chrome is a notorious RAM hog. It requires a lot of "helper" applications to run, and if you open up your Activity Console, you'll see that. Neither Firefox, nor Safari, require anything other than itself to run. You could also try Opera, if you like neither Firefox, nor Safari.

Google Chrome was working fine for 3 months after I upgraded my mac book pro to El Capitan version. However, yesterday, my google chrome starting to show problems. It didn't open google chrome window, so I uninstalled all and moved it to trash. I downloaded many times google chrome for mac os 10.9 and later. But it wass not opening at all. Therefore, I decided to unsinstall completely again and now I don't know what to do to solve this issue. I like safari but I also enjoy google chrome features. Can somebody tell me how to make google chrome to work again in El Capitan Mac book pro? Thanks

Since we're not currently experiencing any known issues impacting access to the Shopify Admin, I'd be curious to know if we can isolate what you're seeing to your device or browser. Would you mind testing a few things for me?

Clear your cache and cookies - when you use a browser, like Chrome, it saves some information from websites in its cache and cookies. Clearing them fixes certain problems, like loading or formatting issues on sites.

Great to see you've attempted to troubleshoot this issue! If you are able to log in via your mobile using data rather than WiFi, this indicates a possible local network error. Have you tried restarting your WiFi modem recently?

For some people, the easiest way to reboot the router is to unplug the power supply, wait 30 seconds, then plug it back in again. Alternatively, there may be an on/off switch on the back of the router, in which case you can use that to turn it off, wait 30 seconds, and then turn it on again.

Thanks for letting me know. We were experiencing an issue impacting admin logins yesterday that has since been resolved. Admins were not loading properly which generated an error page with the message "Request failed reCAPTCHA validation". You can read more about this below:

Which numeric version of iOS is your iMac running on? You can locate this from the Apple menu in the corner of your screen, choose About This Mac. You should see the macOS name, such as macOS Big Sur, followed by its version number.

Currently, the latest macOS version is Big Sur 11.6. I would highly recommend updating to this version if possible as OS X El Capitan 10.11.06 was released to end-users in 2015. Google recommends using a recent operating system to ensure you continue to get the latest Chrome versions and features without any issues.

If you are not seeing any SSL errors via your Domain settings, then the issue is isolated to Google Chrome. As I do not have direct access to your account, I just wanted to double-check as SSL errors via the admin can cause your website to be inaccessible to visitors which means we would need to manually provision the certificates from our end.

In order to save some time, and help the Support Advisor you speak with to pick up from where you and I have left off, I am going to provide you with a summary of the issue as I understand it. You can share this summary at the beginning of your conversation with the agent to bring you both up to speed and help to get your issue resolved as quickly as possible.

Issue Summary: Unable to access Shopify via Google Chrome, has cleared browser cache & DNS cache, is operating on the latest version of Google Chrome. Currently, iMac is running on OS X El Capitan 10.11.06. Next step: Manually provision certificates via internal and consult with TMS.

I am currently having the same issues as stated. I have ran through all of the troubleshooting recommendations and still am unable to manage my back office through google chrome. I can access from other browsers.
