Toy Freddy is a major antagonist in the Five Nights at Freddy's franchise, first appearing in Five Nights at Freddy's 2 as a major titular antagonist. He is a revamped and advanced version of Freddy Fazbear that was meant to replace Withered Freddy. In Ultra Custom Night, his mechanic is almost identical to that of Ultimate Custom Night, with one key difference.
The game is shown to have three main hallways, and the character is Mr. Hugs, who may appear on each hallway camera at any given time. Each hallway also has a door which can block Mr. Hugs from jumpscaring Toy Freddy. The goal of the player is to discern which hallway Mr. Hugs is at and close the appropriate door. Unlike Ultimate Custom Night, the panel for switching cameras and shutting doors is instead tied to the in-game monitor, as opposed to Toy Freddy's monitor. Alternatively, Toy Freddy can be removed from the night if the player uses the Death Coin on him. If Mr. Hugs jumpscares Toy Freddy, then Toy Freddy will come and jumpscare you too. Once Toy Freddy leaves, there is no way to make him go back.
Toy Freddy has two attack phases, so you should do with each phase separately. In 50/20 of Ultimate Custom Night, players would ignore the first phase and simply avoid the second phase. This still works, but you may want to learn about how to deal with each phase individually.
In this phase, Mr. Hugs will move between the hallways randomly, and you must close the door where he is. There isn't any way to tell when Mr. Hugs has moved, so check Parts/Service often. In fact, it might be a good idea to camera stall him. Since he is camera stallable, a good way to avoid Mr. Hugs jumpscaring Toy Freddy is to keep the camera on Parts/Service when you are off of the cameras. Once you are back in the cameras, block Mr. Hugs before moving to other cameras. If you have no reason to change cameras, don't! Staying on Parts/Service will keep you safe from Toy Freddy. If you ever look back at Parts/Service and see the Game Over screen, you will know that Toy Freddy has progressed to phase two.
Once Toy Freddy has been jumpscared, he'll have be out for you. Luckily, there are still two more ways you can strengthen your chances of survival! First thing is that while Toy Freddy was camera stallable in phase one, he is office stallable in phase two! This means that if he were to get jumpscared and you don't need to raise the monitor again, you're safe. When you do need to raise the monitor again, know that Toy Freddy can only kill you on every .5 of a second. This means if you are on the monitor while the timer doesn't say .5 or .0, you won't die. 0.4 seconds isn't a large window to reset the ventilation, so be quick about it. There is still some luck required to not die to Toy Freddy in this state, so it would be safe to keep Toy Freddy in phase one for as long as you can.
