I have Sims Freeplay, and purchased simoleons in the app store for about $14. It then said 'unknown error', and I didn't receive the simoleons. I did, however, receive an iTunes receipt, indicating that the purchase had gone through, but I am still yet to receive the Simoleons days later. I contacted the developer EA, but they told me I had to take the issue up with Apple. I'm not in the US, and not in a country that can use the Express Lane service. How else can I get in touch with Apple to resolve this issue?
I have the same problem too, I paid 10.49 GBP and I have got nothing appeared in my iPhone4s, I think this is a very bad issue, both the APPLE and the EA company need to fix it !! If they can't fix it, they should give our money back!!
I have the same problem. I paid 14.99 for an in app purchase of simoleans. The $ was deducted from my iTunes account but in the sims app there was an unknown error and I have not received the simoleans that I PAID for. I can't get help from apple unless I pay for support, and the EA website is ridiculous. Can anyone help???
I contacted the iTunes store via a link that I found. I'm having trouble finding the exact link right now, but you could try -store/contact.html?form=account&topic=MacAp pStoreAccountandBilling I told them exactly what happened, as well as the order number, amount I paid, and what I paid for. I don't have apple care, nor did I pay for this service. I promptly received a reply by one of their representatives, who informed me that they would refund my credit card for the purchase.
I found this post after I already started talking to someone in express lane about the same problem. I purchased over $21 in simoleons and the first one got "unknown error" and I didn't get the money so I just thought it didn't go through so I tried again yesterday and it worked but here I was CHARGED TWICE $45 because EA/iTunes actually charged me for the first time when I didn't get anything! (the rest sensored as "non constructive" by iTunes and removed - will post entire blog on it later)
I'm dealing with the strangest glitch right now. I have this whole neighborhood renovated, but when I load into a lot, the surrounding lots are appearing as the default lots. Anybody seen this before?? it's actually going to drive me crazy. #TheSims #TheSims4 @Thesims

I've not even had this popup in my game so I can't even claim the first item. But like I hate how players are now going to feel pressured into logging into the game each day/week. Some people can't access the game every single day or week. Well done @TheSims ?
I updated my game and deleted my mods. However I kept my CC. It worked at first but as I activated CC and my Poses and Build/Buy my save showed a error messages, so I removed my CC. The save loaded and now all sims in the save are gone. Nobody lives there. All deleted. @TheSims
This is a reminder that tomorrow there is going to be a patch update for @TheSims 4 introducing free content, a ton of bug fixes and optimisations!This patch could break lots of mods, so please remember to backup your saves and remove your mods!
Is anyone else having issues playing the sims 4? The game randomly turns off, infants aren't working at all, it's saying I don't have packs I own. I own all the packs etc except for the new 2 that came out recently. I need advice please @TheSims @TheSimCommunity @TheSimsDirect
