I installed the MIP plug-in and found my latest version Acrobat DC and Reader DC unable to reflect the changes I made to these specific settings (header, footer, watermark) in MIP label. Am I doing it wrong or Acrobat DC and Reader DC currently do not fully support MIP?

Last, after you make certain your Acrobat products and the MIP plugin are properly updated to reflect their current versions, go here: -acrobat-reader-microsoft-information-protection/ and follow the steps suggested.

After installing the plug-in, I can confirm that Acrobat Reader DC shows "protected by label: xxxxx", which proves Acrobat supports MIP, but the problem is I cannot see header, footer and watermark. Have you personally tested it?

we use Adobe Reader DC 19.010.20098 and the Azure Information for Adobe Reader Plugin 19.010.20064 (11. December 2018). If we encrypt our PDF Files with Azure Information Protection, Adobe Reader Crashes sometimes if we scroll through the slides. It happens often on big PDFs with more than 20 Pages.

We tried to convert to PDF in different ways and compressions but the Adobe Reader keeps crashing. If we decrypt the PDF which causes the crash and open it with Adobe reader, the crashes dont happen anymore.

We send out invoices opened in Acrobat Reader DC, using the email icon, it opens Outlook (2013) and displays the new message with PDF attached as expected, we change the From address to a shared mailbox and send successfully, but the message goes into the Sent Items of the current user's mailbox rather than the Sent Items folder of the From address's mailbox. (We are using hosted Exchange)

I am using Windows 10 Pro and i have enabled thumbnail preview in reader. when i search in file explorer for some words it freeze and crush then close but when i disable thumnail preview the issue does not appear. i discovered this issue from event viewer which the error explained more in detail in below:

Updates to Reader have been failing for about 2 months. Today I uninstalled Reader and tried to reinstall it per the instructions on the Troubleshooting page. On the first attempt thru Firefox it appeared to be 99% complete then failed with an error message "Newer Version already installed".

I tried closing my browser and launching the installer directly. This time it appeared to successfully install Reader and progressed thru the Optimizing Performance and Publishing Product Info stages but stopped with error 1721 When MSI tries to launch RdrServicesUpdater. Event Viewer shows - Action: InstallWebResources, location: C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Acrobat Reader DC\Reader\AcroCEF\RdrServicesUpdater.exe, command: 19.012.20034

Update: So I restored my System back to when I had the older version installed, Ran the C++ update as described in the almost identical thread on this site about error #1722 (got a message the update already was installed), manually swapped the msvcr120.dll and msvcp120.dll files (per Option 3) and then retried the Reader update with the same result as above, the first time it said "newer version installed" and undid the update. Then I ran the install locally and again it stopped after optimization and publishing the program info with the #1721 error. This time I just killed the installer and MSI processes while it was waiting for me to acknowledge the error and before it could revert the update, which left me with the newer version by the brute force method.

I am unable to install Adobe Acrobat Reader DC and when I trying to install the same it says 'newer version already installed'. Even after cleaning adobe acrobat with the cleaning tool the same thing is happening. The same is happening after re-installation of windows.

I've run into a very specific scenario where Acrobat Reader DC with the MSRMS plugin throws an "Insufficient data for an image" error after encrypting files that were originally created by the Canon iR3570 or Canon iR4570 device. These files will open with the Azure Information Protection Viewer. Other PDF files encrypted by AIP open and display their contents without issue. I've tried running the files through ghostscript and tinkering with various settings, but haven't been able to find an option that makes a difference.

This is the first time i install adobe after i reinstall my windows, but it show error Newer version already installed. I have try clean tool, restart, unplug, but it still the same. And i contact the live chat, they not able to help me too.

When placing a text box, I cannot manually resize the box, nor can I drag it. Once I place the text box, its stuck. Same goes for the signature box. Once the signature is placed it cannot be resized or moved/dragged. I used to be able to do this, but no more.

It is a Computer that I just installed Win 7 Pro. after the install it says that a newer version is already on my computer. Even though i downloaded the latest version and the software isn't even on my computer. Does any one know how to resove this? I tried searching for it with Revo Uninstaller, and it cant find Adobe

Attach PDF to email feature is broken in Reader DC 2019.012.20034. I went back to the an older version from February 2019 (version 19.10.20091.53467) and the attach PDF to email button works normally. Trying to use this with Outlook 2016 but no luck.. Outlook is set as the default email application, Outlook has been repaired, and Outlook is working normally otherwise.

The problem is that Adobe Reader DC keeps automatically updating to the 2019.012.20034 version and breaking the feature. I tried turning off the automatic update features (disabled the update under Task Scheduler, disabled the Adobe update service, set the "no update" option in registry, etc) but the Reader DC version that works keeps updating itself to the version that doesn't.

It seems like Adobe breaks this feature every other version or so. Is there a fix for this coming soon? Any suggestions for getting this button to work? The workaround is that we have to tell users to save the PDF and drag and drop it into an email message. If the attach PDF to email button isn't going to work then why even include it?

I completed many measurements in Adobe Acrobat Reader DC on my Mac and saved the file many times. Went to re-open and the measurement ticks on the either end of my measurement were there but no measurement number displayed and the measurement looks incomplete - someone please help! Can I get the measurements back?
