SoulFighter is a six-week event taking over the world of Runeterra with new game modes, skins, champions, and more coming to League of Legends, Wild Rift, Teamfight Tactics, and Legends of Runeterra. Our tribute to the fighting game genre takes inspiration from the deep emotional resonance and unique character moments from fighting games and anime tournament arcs. The event begins globally on Thursday, July 20, and runs through Monday, August 28.
Tag Duel is a new game mode that pits players against each other in one-on-one combat. Each player will select three champions before entering combat and can seamlessly swap between them, so long as they are off cooldown. In this mode, you can take the combos into your own hands instead of needing your teammates to finish off the play. The first player to reach four kills will emerge victorious.
With the greatest and most powerful of the gods astray, Thanatos (the cunning god of death) seizes his opportunity to usurp Jupiter and crown himself king, throwing open the challenge to man, god and legendary beast: any who would oppose his machinations must step forward and best the god of death in combat. The price of dissent could be your undoing, but kindle the smoke of memories: the last mortal who bested Thanatos was afforded immortality. And so it begins; from the furthest reaches of the globe, legends gather to enter a battle that will decide the fate of mortal men and gods alike.
SEGA and High Voltage Software present Tournament of Legends, a unique 3D fighting game exclusively for Wii. Play as (and battle against) characters drawn from mythology the world over on your quest to defeat a god. Choose from a cast of 10 fabled warriors including a brave Minotaur, a massive Stone Golem, an accursed Gorgon, a fierce Valkyrie, a powerful Egyptian Goddess and a rugged Gladiator.
Most characters fight with a separate weapon in each hand and whether polished claws or dull, chipped metal, each character has their own signature armaments. For those who prefer traditional controls, the Classic Controller (Pro) is supported, while those who would rather experience the action via motion-based controls can control their primary weapon using the Wii Remote and the secondary weapon via the Nunchuk. Get into the swing of things with the interactive training level which will teach you the basics and set you on the road to mastering your character's fighting discipline.
The ancient world is a place of magic and you'll have the opportunity to utilise old school offence, unleashing devastating magical attacks from your chosen weapon set; in the blink of an eye you'll be sending forth plagues of snakes, showers of arrows or calling down lightning bolts on your opponents. If that isn't enough to sate your appetite for destruction, each weapon can be imbued with an enchantment to further enhance its powers, giving you a vital edge in battle.
You'll need every ounce of skill you possess to reach Thanatos, because in addition to vanquishing other competitors, your quest will bring you face to face with malevolent forces hidden in the dark places of the ancient world. Battles take place in one of eight arenas, each home to a powerful creature of myth and folklore (such as the Kraken, the Roc or the fearsome Frost Dragon). As such, the opposing fighter isn't your only enemy. At any moment the malevolent host may attempt to stake their territorial claim and you will have fleeting seconds to respond to the challenge using the Wii Remote and Nunchuk. Of course, your greatest adversary may just turn out to be the person sitting next to you as you strive for legendary status against friends in two-player battles!
Every combat will be a test; if you survive, you pass to the next stage, inching ever closer to the final battle against Thanatos. You'll need to stay on your feet, keep moving, evade attacks, defend yourself, charge opponents, unleash magical fury and time your blows exactly in order to survive. Test your mettle and put your metal to the test in Tournament of Legends, only on Wii.

Imagine a tournament where there was no weight limit. Fighters could show up and weigh whatever weight they wanted to when they entered the cage. Imagine those fights happening inside a 20,000 seat Arena. Now imagine those fights actually being part of an 8 man tournament, and featured one of the most dangerous K1 strikers of all time competing in MMA.
Now stop imagining, and circle May 12, 2018 in your calendar because that will be the first round of the inaugural 8 man Openweight Grand Prix being promoted by Road FC at their 47th event. The tournament just announced the addition of Jerome Le Banner as their final participant in the event scheduled to take place at the Cadillac Arena in Beijing China.
