bulk delete

Forgive this lowly pastoral n00b!  

We use powerchurchplus to sync up our onebody database.  

Currently we have 384 actual members in our congregation, but, our sync yielded 3,274 members in onebody.  (powerchurchplus tracks anyone who'se ever been here, given, etc.)

Two things I'm concerned about

1 - deleting 2,900 entries family by family.

2 - having all the 3,274 back the next time we sync.

Where do I go from here?

   - uninstall everything and import from a custom CSV I generate and bypass the whole sync thing?  

   - do everything by hand and find a way to stop sync'ing? (please no!)

   - is there a way to bulk delete that I'm missing?

Joshua, the PowerChurch sync was removed in our latest 3.x series and is not supported. 😁

If you want to upgrade, importing from CSV is definitely an option. The redesigned CSV import is quite good.

Why was sync with PowerChurch removed? That was one of the "selling" points I am using to support my recommendation of using Onebody for our church.

David, I'm sorry. The PowerChurch sync was built by PowerChurch on a very old (different) version of OneBody and since no one on the dev team uses PowerChurch, we couldn't support the functionality.

Got it. Not a problem I'm sure. As long as Powerchurch can export to get things going in OneBody we should be OK.
