Hello everyone,

 

Just as a way of introducing myself.....

 

My name is Gill and I am 60 years old.  I graduated from the University of Sheffield in 2004 with a BSc in Combined Studies (Natural and Human Landscapes), and in 2007 with an MA in European Historical Archaeology (Research Track).  My specialist area is in relation to Churches that have their foundations from the pre-conquest to the early post conquest period. The subject of my MA dissertation was the  re-use of materials in three local churches and the relationship between them.  I am currently researching the relationship between Holy Wells and churches, especially those that are dedicated to St Helen.
