I just wanted to advise the group that there are still places
available at the SCA 2009 Conference, entitled The Church in
Lincolnshire from the Romans to the Romanesque. It will be held at
the Judges Lodgings, Lincoln, on Sept 25th-27th. In addition to
papers given by leading scholars on the Lincolnshire church, including
Mick Jones, David Stocker, Paul Everson, Philip Dixon, and David
Taylor, there will be an exclusive tour of the west front of the
Cathedral and visits to the finest Romanesque parish churches in
Lincoln and Lincolnshire.
