Pastoral Message from the Church of the Epiphany

Dear Members of Epiphany,

 

I am sorry to inform you that former Epiphany music director and organist,
and our brother in Christ, Barron Smith, died last night. His wife Ruth was able to visit him yesterday, and we understand that he died peacefully in his sleep.

 

The clergy are in close contact with Ruth and her care providers, who have indicated that she would appreciate calls and visits. (Please call ahead if you wish to visit.)

 

Services are pending, and a message with details will go out to the parish as they are available.

 

Rest eternal grant to him, O Lord; and let light perpetual shine upon him. 

May his soul, and the souls of all the departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace.
