Hi

In what folder should trigger scripts be placed?

Thanks
George

I didn't have many, but I put them with the sprocs.

Thanks for the reply.

That's what I was thinking of doing. I've got 64 of them to script, not sure if that's a lot, but it's certainly more than I'd like...

Hi George,

There isn't officially a specific folder for triggers. If you're comfortable with building roundhouse yourself, you could take a look at Anders Malmgren's pull request which adds an anytime 'triggers' folder (https://github.com/chucknorris/roundhouse/pull/102).

At the moment, we're apprehensive about continuing to add folders to Roundhouse, so this is why the pull request hasn't been accepted. We've been discussing moving toward a more configurable approach. I spiked something out a while back (https://github.com/chucknorris/roundhouse/pulls) but we need to work out sometime a little nicer than CSV for getting this information to roundhouse.

I recently joined the team and this is one of the areas I will soon be tackling. I've been doing some house keeping and fixing a couple of issues that have bogged me down in the past, but I very much want to solve this problem soon.

Cheers,

Mario Pareja

Hi Mario

Thanks for your input. I'll keep an eye on the project and see how things develop.

Did RoundhousE ever develop a solution for triggers?

I don't believe we went the direction of adding an additional default folder. We discussed making it possible for users to set their own folders and order over the default set of folders.
