Hello Columbus High School Ultimate League player! Thanks for a great 2013 season. We have a great tournament planned for this weekend. Let’s celebrate the awesome season that was with one last weekend of competitive and fun Ultimate.

A few points of business:

1. Only players who have registered through CUDA’s website are permitted to play this weekend. Players with incomplete or missing registrations are ineligible to participate. Please check your team’s roster for your name. If you don’t see it, please contact me immediately.

2. All players will need to complete the required USAU Waiver and Release of Liability form. Players can log into their USAU account and complete the form online. Or, players can complete the form the morning of the tournament. We will have copies of the waivers Saturday morning for everyone that needs them.

3. The Cookout. We’re having a cookout after Saturday’s games. CUDA will provide burgers and dogs and a few snack items for all, but we need help! Each team should bring a side or two. Mac n Cheese? Pasta? Cookies? Chips and guac? Salad? Those delicious little meatball thingys? Let’s pull together to make this cookout a smorgasbord of goodness!

4. There will be a brief captain’s and coach’s meeting at 8:30am both mornings. Please send 1 or 2 people to tournament headquarters (located in the volleyball shelter) for the meeting.

5. Games start at 9am but we have the fields starting at 8am on both days. I encourage all teams to arrive early and get warmed up, but please do not arrive before 8am.

6. The weather. It looks pretty good. 71 on Saturday and 67 on Sunday with less than 30% chance of rain for both days.

You can check out the score reporter link here!

Please note that we have one last game this evening and then final seedings will be determined.

Other questions? Please review the attached tournament packet for more info. As always, you can e.mail me with any questions or concerns.

See everyone Saturday morning!
