2014 Columbus High School Ultimate Kick-Off Meeting

Hello, everyone.

It's time to start planning the 2014 Ultimate season. I'd like to have a kick-off and organizational meeting on Monday, October 28th at 7:00p.

The tentative meeting location is the Roosters on Olentangy, same as last year. Their address:

3370 Olentangy River Rd
Columbus, Ohio 43202

I'm waiting to get confirmation on our reservation.

I'd like to have at least one representative (player, coach, parent) from each school attend this meeting. Please note that this meeting is also intended for schools considering the Columbus High School Ultimate League. So even if you're unsure whether or not your sure your school will participate in the 2014 season, I still encourage you to attend the meeting. Also, if you are interested in coaching but don't have a team, you should attend, too.

I'll send out a more complete agenda prior to the meeting, but we will cover the following items:

• Season Timeline and Important Dates
• League format changes for 2014
• Registration Process
• Becoming a Club Sport

Please RSVP by Friday, October 25th. Just send me an e.mail letting me know that you'll be attending along with which school you're a part of.

Olentangy Liberty will not have a team this year... or at least will not have me as a coach. I did not get any interest when I went looking for it, so unless they contact the league I'd say they are out this year. 

I also don't think I am going to be able to get a team together at Grove City by myself. If some students express interest and are looking for a coach then let me know. I'll be trying to get something started at my middle school for the time being.
