Regionals THIS Weekend

This weekend is the Ohio Valley Regional Tournament. This tournament will send the top college teams from the Ohio Valley Region to College Nationals.

The tournament is taking place on Saturday and Sunday, April 27th and 28th and I encourage everyone to go out and watch some high level Ultimate. Games will be held at Fred Beekman Park (the same place where city's is going down) on the campus of OSU. Go HERE for game times and field locations.

This is an excellent chance to watch top quality Ultimate. Last year's College National Champions (Pitt), along with OSU, Penn St., Carnegie-Mellon, Ohio University and Cinci (to name a few) will all be competing throughout the weekend. Pool play starts at 1:00p on Saturday and bracket play starts at 6:00p Saturday evening. The championship game will be at 2:00p on Sunday.

Additionally, Rodger Oakes--the tournament director, coach of Pickerington and Ultimate mastermind--is looking for volunteers to help for either or both days. Need service hours for various school clubs and projects? This is a great opportunity to earn them in a fun way!
