I spoke about this briefly with Kelly (Price) last week, but figured
others might be thinking the same thing, so here's my thoughts...

You'll notice that the name of this group is "CHS Tigers 1987", not
"CHS Tigers 1987 REUNION". This group is set up for *us*, not for the
reunion per se. As such, this group will continue to exist *after*
the reunion. (As long as Google stays in business, or doesn't shut
these discussion groups down, we're good-to-go. And even if they
did...we'd figure out how to do the same thing somewhere else.)

The point is, the whole idea of this group was not just as a means to
work out the details of the reunion, but to become a mechanism with
which we could continue to stay in contact with one another from this
point forward.

For example, if a bunch of people are going to get together for some
event in Tulsa...post it here. If some folks are going to get
together and go watch a home football game...post it here. If you're
going back to Cleveland for the holidays, and would like to visit with
somebody you didn't get to see, or visit with long enough at the
reunion...post it here. Capice?

Also, we'll eventually get that spreadsheet filled out. After the
reunion, I was going to change the columns around to some more
relevant info: address, city, state, DOB, other (?) And speaking of
the spreadsheet...did you guys know that you are ALL owners of that
spreadsheet? You can add people as collaborators, change the format,
add data, etc. You can do everything but delete it, so if you learn
of somebody who isn't plugged into the database, you don't have to
wait for someone else to do it...YOU can do it!

OK, if you can access the spreadsheet (which you should be able
to...if you can't, let me know) then log-in, and update your address
information. (City, State, Zip)

2nd, if you see a name where the e-mail address has been highlighted,
and you know what it is...please fill it in. I'll get those e-mail
addresses added to the discussion group, and name-by-name, we'll
eventually track everyone down.

Surely, everybody that went knows how to get in touch with *somebody*
that didn't, so let's make sure we remain aware of who we do and do
not have contact info for. It sounds like a long-time, but 2012 (the
25th reunion) will sneak up on us pretty fast (just look at how fast
the past 21 years went by!), so if we remain somewhat diligent about
finding people now, it'll make the 25th reunion that much easier to
coordinate. And for those of you that went, you know how much fun we
had, so it shouldn't be too hard to convince the skeptics that it
wasn't like being in high-school again, and that it was a helluva good
time!

I'm so glad y'all showed up!

Robert
