Here's the link to vote, but before you do, let me explain the
reasoning behind the choices

http://snappoll.com/poll/266054.php

Choice #1 is "Fall of 2011" ~ This is an idea that began with a
discussion I had with Greg Ward, who pointed out that *our*
homecoming, when we were seniors, was October of 1986. 25 years from
*that* homecoming (our homecoming) would be 2011

Choice #2 is "Fall of 2012" ~ This is simply the 25th homecoming since
the year that we graduated

Choice #3 is "Sooner" ~ Fairly self-explanatory

Choice #4 is "Later" ~ Again, fairly self-explanatory

Now go vote!

Wow! Cool stuff guys. I don't want to bias anyone's vote that hasn't
voted yet, but if we ran a commercial, it'd say, "8 out of 9
classmates agree..." (and the one that doesn't agree just doesn't want
to wait that long!)

Again, if you haven't voted, git er done!

FYI - Right now, it's 3:1 in favor of "Fall, 2011"

(The thing that's most encouraging to me is that 100% of the votes are
either Fall 2011, or "Sooner"! That tells me everyone had a great
time, and is already looking forward to the next one!)

OK, it doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out where this is
headed...

http://www.snappoll.com/view_results.php?poll_id=266054

15-votes so far, 80% of which are in favor of the "Fall of 2011" for
the next "big" reunion. I say we give it a while longer, but I don't
foresee any drastic changes developing.

If you haven't done it yet, may as well put your 2-cents in

Based on the vote results...

http://www.snappoll.com/view_results.php?poll_id=266054

Let's go ahead and call it. The next reunion will be during the fall
of 2011 (19 in favor of the fall, 4 in favor of "sooner")

For now, why don't we consider "Fall" to mean Sept, Oct & Nov of 2011

Also, while it's still fresh in your mind...If you could improve upon
the 20-year reunion, how would you do it? What would you like to do
different (if anything?) on the 25th reunion?

For example...

* Working bathrooms at the park
* Better soundtrack

I am for working bathrooms and will continue to stand firm on that issue.

Additionally, I will be on a steady diet of MC Hammer and T'pau in order to prepare for the glory of an 80's sound track.

So do you think we can find any addtional people?  It seemed that there were people that still live in Cleveland that weren't there.  What gives????

BTW...did anyone bring any Pearl Beer?  I don't drink the stuff, but a six pack would have been appropriate I think.

I recognized most folks...I was totally psyched to see a pic of Mike Malloy (Dr.)  Awsome!

Oh man...I don't think you meant to say it that way, but that's GOT to
be Mike's new nickname!

Dr. Awesome!

How cool is that!

I think since we are thinking of doing it around homecoming we should plan some things in Cleveland this time.(not there are a whole lot of things to do) but we have time to ponder them!???
Oh yeah,  I also wanted to thank all the spouses that came and put up with all of us!  Everyone was VERY friendly.
Thanks!!!

And by the way, a tip-of-the-hat to you on the notably 80's song
references

I think the next soundtrack should be all those 80's songs that make
you embarrassed to have lived through the 80's. For example, I think
Dokken is the shiz, but when you watch this video...

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ECr98ZOnsig

It *is* a little embarrassing!

(just pause it at 25 or 26 seconds in...)

(or 43 seconds...)

Where the hell did 80's rock-stars buy their pants?

No kidding!

For normal crowds, that could have been a very lame experience. But
for the class of 1987 of Cleveland, OK...hell...we coulda charged
admission & signed autographs!

;)

I thought it was fun meeting all the spouses and finding out who we grew up to be married too.  And just how beautiful or handsome our kids are.

Now that you mention it, I think that is a perfect nick name for Dr. Malloy.  Dr. Awesome!

Maybe his business cards should be changed....

It's funny that the name Dr. Awesome has been pinned on Mike it fits
him perfectly, trust me. I am a patient of Mike's, I don't know where
I would be if it hadn't been for Mike. I wouldn't of been able to
make it to the reunion for one and I wouldn't of been able to keep
being a foster parent. Because I wouldn't of been able to take care
of my kids. It got to where I was hardly able to take care of myself.
I see his miraculous work everytime I go into his office for my
treatments. I know I must sound like some Infomercial or something,
but he is DR. AWESOME.

Nuff said. From this point forward, Mike shall be known as "Dr.
Awesome"

Sweet! I love it!
