Hi hi

To solve this qns, we have to look at the qns in this way. The Y mass pulling down will cause the N pole above pressing down on the N pole below. Hence there will be a repulsion force upwards on the magnet which will result in an ACWM.

So there are 2 ACWM. one from the magnet and the other one due to mass X. This is balance by the CWM generated by Y. By this analysis, ACWM generated by X must be less than Y right?

Look thru the four choices, which ans give X lesser moment than Y.
